I’ve been watching Film Riot since I was in middle school. It is a great Youtube channel to watch to learn how to do all kinds of different effects. The people involved in it are so funny and talented, and all of their tutorials are extremely helpful. They use several different programs, but After Effects is one of them. I suggest watching their videos if you need help figuring something out, or even to just have a good laugh!
