Project #8, Disruption

Project #8, Disruption due April 28th

Step 1: Pick a sequence of images. At least ten that are very expected (think typical). For example;

      • 10  Beautiful landscapes
      • 10 pictures of a type of food
      • 10 pictures of Uconn
      • 10 pictures of teenagers
      • 10 pictures of cats

Step 2: Think about how to “disrupt” these images. Possible ideas; add text, block certain things out, composite images together, create a character that invades this new space. Apply one technique of disruption to all 10 images,

Above two steps should be completed before class on Tuesday April 19th

Step 3: Create a sequence out of these images and join them together through animation (in class on Tuesday)

  • If they aren’t already, divide your ten images into separate layers in Photoshop so that they can be animated in After Effects.
  • Think about consistent movements, themes, colors, transitions through the images that could be used as transitions.
